Obituary of Beulah C. Payne

BEULAH C. PAYNE Beulah Payne, age 91, passed away June 8 in Vancouver. She was born November 8, 194 in Salt Lake City, UT. She later moved to Huntington Park, CA where she grew up and married LaFrance Payne in 1935. The moved to Fillmore, UT where they spent their entire married life. While in Fillmore, Beulah ran her own dress shop. After her husband passed away she moved to the Portland area to be closer to family. In 2003 she moved to Washougal to live at Columbia Ridge Assisted Living Home. Beulah was an artist and loved opera and sewing. She is survived by her sons, Robert Payne of Washougal, WA, Richard Payne of Lindon, UT; daughter, Donna Baker of Fillmore, UT; sisters, Eva Barrett of Sequim, WA, Ruth Weber and Georgie Schroder both of Virginia Beach, VA; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date in Fillmore, UT. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
