Obituary of Barbara Carolyn Lane

BARBARA CAROLYN LANE Barbara Lane, age 51, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006 in Washougal. She was born August 5, 1954 in Montgomery, AL. At the age of 12 she moved to the Camas/Washougal area and attended Washougal schools. Barbara married Daniel Lane on October 5, 1973. She worked as a homemaker until her children graduated from high school and then she worked at the converting plant at the paper mill. Barbara loved the beach, going for car rides and being with her grandchildren. Her children remember her as a wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, in 2005. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Lane of Camas; daughter Jennifer Ernst of Washougal; mother, Jimmie Neely of Selma, AL; mother-in-law, Lois Lane of Washougal; grandchildren Shelby & Chloie Ernst of Washougal; 1 brother and 4 sisters. A funeral service will be Thursday, June 8 at 10am at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.
