Obituary of Marie Louise Jensen

MARIE LOUISE JENSEN Marie Jensen, age 94, passed away May 2, in Vancouver. She was born May 24, 1911 in Camas to Joseph and Louisa Ast. Marie was raised in Camas where she graduated from high school. She married Ernest Jensen and during WWII she worked in the Vancouver shipyards. They moved to Washougal in 1949 and Marie became a homemaker. She has spent the past three years living in Vancouver. Marie enjoyed being with her grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 1974. Survivors include her three children, Susan Corbett of Washougal, Gary Jensen of Camas, Mary Jensen of Washougal; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held later. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
