Obituary of Katherine Elizabeth Warren

KATHERINE E. WARREN Katherine Warren, age 97, passed away Wednesday, February 15 at home in Camas. She was born November 19, 1908 in Almena, WI to John and Anna Mueller. She moved to Montana in 1912 where she lived until moving to Brush Prairie in 1924. In 1930 she married Robert Warren and they lived in Camas 2 years before moving to Fern Prairie and staying their for 66 years. Mrs. Warren was a homemaker and active in the community. She was a former member of the school board, a 4-H leader for 20 years, a member of the Catholic Daughters, and St. Thomas Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Fern Prairie Grange, a volunteer at the Treasure House and a 25 year member of the 49er Trailer Club. Her hobbies include textile painting, sewing, gardening, reading, and doing puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2002. She is survived by her son, Larry Warren of Sun City West, AZ; daughters, Lenore Taylor of Orchards, WA, Marjorie Low of Salem, OR, Carolyn Dorman of Central Point, OR, Barbara Cartier of Camas, WA; brothers, Johnny Mueller of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Felix Mueller of Camas, Andrew Mueller of Washougal; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchild. An evening vigil service will be Monday, February 20 at 7pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be Tuesday, February 21 at 11am at St. Thomas. Burial will follow at the Camas Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas Straub?s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
