VOLA LAMM Vola Louise Pilkay Lamm passed away on January 25, 2006 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House at the age of 90. She was born on July 1, 1915 in Washougal, WA. Vola spent most of her life in Washougal, retiring from Pendleton Woolen Mills after 33 years of service. Vola loved watching sports on TV, gardening and taking trips to Reno. She enjoyed her son and niece and nephew swimming during the summer when they where children and also to collect wildflowers. Working crossword puzzles and crocheting were other interests. She also loved to go to the beach. Vola is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lyman, her son, William of Vancouver and two nieces, Jackie Faley and Virginia Gimmey of Washougal. Her sisters Polly Davis and Beulah Sadewasser and brother, Jack Pilkay preceded her in death. At her request there will be no services. Private cremation was at Columbia River Crematory with Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas in charge of the arrangements.
