Obituary of Ellen D. Tourtellot

Ellen Tourtellot was born Sept 19,1922 in Snyder, Texas and died Dec 31,2005 in Vancouver WA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bryant Justis, Sr., and Lester Tourtellot. Ellen moved from Huntingdon Beach, CA, her home of 35 years, to the Camas area after Lester died in April 2000 so her son and daughter-in law, Bryant & Sue Justis could care for her. She had been legally blind with macular degeneration for several years and enjoyed audio books. She was especially fond of Louie L'amour westerns. She is survived by her son, Bryant Justis Jr., Camas, grandson, Matthew Justis, Vancouver, granddaughter, Amy Weier, St Paul MN, three great grand children, and a favorite niece and namesake Ellen Marie Willson, Ethridge TN. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 12 at 11am at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 807 SE Ellsworth Rd. in Vancouver. Burial will be at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, California. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
