Obituary of Everett L. Hamllik

EVERETT ?BUDGE?HAMLLIK Everett ?Budge? Hamllik, 84, took his final rest on October 15, 2005 in Vancouver. While awake, Everett was born in The Dalles, OR on April 4, 1921 and raised in both Goldendale and Washougal, WA. He left the States to sail abroad as a Merchant Marine, to return as an Officer and Gentleman to Portland where he married his late wife, Ann, and fathered three children, Doug, Tom with wife, Karen, and Nancy with husband, Bill Foley. After 30 plus years as a longshoreman, Everett enjoyed his leisure in Washougal, by reading and enriching his friends and family with pithy belittlements couched in the most affable backdrop of conversation and company. Everett leaves behind his memory and inspiration for life to the aforementioned, with grandchildren, Bill, Matt, and Steve Foley, with great grandchildren Madysen and Taber, and dear friends Grant, Jean, Alline, Sharon and many more friends.
