CLARICE ELDA PEACHES LAWS Clarice Laws passed away on Saturday, September 24 in Camas at the age of 105. Clarice was born on August 4, 1900 in LaMoille, Iowa to John and Magdalene Leonard. She grew up in Iowa and married Albert Leslie Bullock in 1918 in Omaha, NE. They moved to San Jose, CA in 1932 and Clarice worked at the Grace Baptist Church as a secretary. Her husband ?Les? passed away in 1958. In 1959 she married Casper Hall Laws in San Jose and they moved to Walnut Creek, CA in the early 1960?s. Casper passed away in 1971 and Clarice would move to Vancouver, WA in 1978 to be closer to her family. Mrs. Laws enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She shared the same birthday with Queen Elizabeth and would send her a birthday card every year, and would always get a response in return. She is survived by her son, Byron Bullock and his wife Jeane of Washougal; daughter, Leslye Hansen of Washougal; step-son, Robert Laws of Saratoga, CA; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Her ashes will be inurned at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
