Obituary of Charles E. McClellan

Charles 'Bud' McClellan Charles died August 3,2005 at home. He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen. He is survived by four children: Steve McClellan, Vickie Strickler, Zada Cotton of Washougal and Robyn Hammond of Camas; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dad was one of eleven children born to John and Lillie McClellan in Pueblo, Colorado. Dad served in the Medic Core during the 2nd World War and was stationed in Seattle during the Korean War; he worked in the mailroom distributing mail for the troops over seas. Dad and mom in their retirement enjoyed going to California for the winter. They called themselves snowbirds. A memorial service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery on Wednesday, August 10 at 11:00. Immediately following the service the family would like to invite you to a gathering at Steve McClellan's house, 29520 10th St. Washougal. Our family wants to thank the folks who let him join in and play his harmonica at the Homestead Tavern. Thanks to the staff and residents of the Columbia Ridge Assisted Living who hosted his visitations. And a special thank you to all the Hospice caretakers, especially Anita.
