Obituary of Clayton Leroy Paprska

CLAYTON LEROY PAPRSKA Clayton Paprska passed away Sunday, July 17 in Vancouver. He was 62. Clayton was born December 24, 1942 in Medford, OR. He was raised in Washougal and served in the Marine Corps from 1960 - 1966. He came back to the Washougal area after he was discharged and worked in the fiberglass industry for many years. He worked for Corrosion Controllers, Atbar Plastics, LaValley?s Industrial Plastics and most recently for Freightliner, retiring in 2000. Mr. Paprska married Diana Field in Vancouver in 1969. He liked racing cars and had his own mini Indy car. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Diana of Vancouver; children, Brain Paprksa, Clayton Paprska, Jennifer Austin, Danny Field all of Vancouver; sisters, Ann Rafferty of Juliet, ID, Jeanette Scott of Camas; brother, Mike Paprska of Vancouver; stepbrothers and sisters, Mark, Donna, Judy, and Donny Emerson all of Bend, OR ; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A graveside service will be Thursday, July 21 at 2:30pm at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
