Obituary of Jack Edward Manecke

JACK EDWARD MANECKE Jack Manecke, age, 41, passed away Wednesday, July 6 at home in Camas. He was born March 31, 1964 in Ontario, OR to Howard and Bobbi Manecke. Jack grew up in Camas where he attended school and later joined the Army. He returned to Camas and worked in construction and most recently as a commercial painter. Mr. Manecke was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed working in his garden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbi and a brother, Jared. Survivors include his wife, Linda, at home; sons, Jack Manecke, Jr. of Prineville, OR, Stetson Manecke of Long Beach, WA; daughters, Jennifer Manecke of Vancouver, WA, Logan Manecke and Hunter Manecke both of Long Beach, WA; brother, Joe Manecke of Washougal; sister, Angela Manecke of Camas; father, Howard Manecke of Camas; 3 grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be Thursday, July 14 at 11am at the Camas Assembly of God Church. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Crematory in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
