LLOYD RICHARD TAYLOR Lloyd R. Taylor, age 73, passed away Thursday, June 23 in Vancouver. He was born July 17, 1931 in Fort Benton, MT and moved to the Vancouver area with his parents during WWII. He graduated from Evergreen High School and joined the Navy. Lloyd was stationed in Hawaii and married Lenore Warren in 1952 in Camas. Mr. Taylor attended Clark College and worked as a machinist retiring in 2001. He enjoyed farming and reading. Survivors include his wife, Lenore, at home; children Lloyd A. Taylor of Vancouver, James Taylor of Kent, WA, Glen Taylor of Battle Ground, WA, Jo Ann Taylor, Shari Pachl and Terry Taylor all of Vancouver; brothers, Joe Taylor of Nashville, TN, Rod Taylor of Olympia, WA; sister, Katherine Schlottman of Olympia, WA. A funeral mass will be Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the American Diabetes Association @ P.O Box 1132, Fairfax, Virginia 22038-1132.
