Obituary of Thomas Neal Trent

THOMAS TRENT Thomas Trent, age 59, passed away Tuesday, May 31 at home in Camas. He was born January 24, 1946 in Bakersfield, CA and as raised in Portland, OR. In 1977 he married Cheryl Stevenson in Stevenson, WA and they made their home at Cape Horn for 25 years. Mr. Trent worked as a welder and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 701. They moved to Camas eight years ago. Thomas enjoyed being with his grandchildren and rock hunting. He also liked jazz and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, at home; sons, Thomas, Jr. and Walter Trent of Sparks, NV, Paul Trent of Washougal; daughter, Tammy Trent of Vancouver; grandchildren, Janis and Sam Trent; Tim, Nick and Kirsti Ingrim; and Amy and Chad Brucker. At his request no services will be held. Burial will be private at the Wind River Memorial Cemetery in Carson, WA. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
