Obituary of Dee Fitzgerald

DEE FITZGERALD Dee Fitzgerald, age 60, passed away Friday, May 6 at her home in Camas. She was born July 13, 1944 in Bagley, MN to Norris & Harriet Wright Johnson. Dee moved to Washougal when she was 6 and graduated from Washougal High School. In 1963 she married her high school sweetheart, Glen Fitzgerald and they made their home in Washougal. Dee worked for short time at Crown Zellerbach in the converting plant before becoming a fulltime homemaker. In the year 2000 they moved to Camas. Dee was a member of the Faith Missionary Church in Forrest Home where she was a Deaconess. She enjoyed plants and gardening. She also liked going camping, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Anderson in 1986. Survivors include her husband, Glen, at home; son, Kevin Fitzgerald of Vancouver; daughters, Shelly Michaelson of Camas, Traci Boni of Washougal; brothers, Delfphen Johnson of Portland, Keith and Norris Johnson both of Washougal; and 5 grandchildren. A graveside service will be Saturday, May 14 at 10am at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Faith Missionary Church in Camas.
