Obituary of Betty I. Meyer

BETTY I. MEYER Betty Meyer passed away Sunday, April 24 at her home in Camas. She was born in Weiser, ID where she grew up and went to school. After moving to the Camas area she worked for a short time at the Pendleton Woolen Mill before becoming a full time homemaker. She was married to Wilford Meyer of 65 years when he passed away in 2000. Betty enjoyed driving her car, watching comedy movies, eating out and her favorite flowers where roses and carnations. She was an excellent cook and spent a lot of time in her yard planting flowers. Betty was always helping people and was loved by her entire family. She is survived by her son, Gary Meyer of Camas; daughters, Judy Chartrand and Shirlene Williamson both of Camas, Barbara Smith of Renton, WA, Marlene Gillas of Washougal; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Thursday, April 28 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Inurnment will be at the Camas Cemetery.
