Obituary of Carroll Lynn Parkison

CARROLL LYNN PARKISON Carroll Parkison, age 57, passed away Monday, March 14 at SW Washington Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1947 in Inglewood, CA and was raised in Riverside, CA. After high school she attended a Keypunch school and then met Joe Parkison while he was in the service. They got married in Las Vegas in 1968 and moved to Colorado Springs, CO. There she worked for Ford Aerospace in Quality Assurance and started breeding Alaskan Klee Kai miniature Huskies in 1988. They then moved to Fern Prairie in 1993 where they lived for 7 years until moving to Bear Prairie. Breeding her dogs was not only Carroll?s occupation but it was her love and passion. She is survived by her husband, Joe, at home; daughters, Jeana Carnes of Conroe, TX and Michelle MacGregor of Portland, OR; son, Don Parkison of Colorado Springs, CO; mother, June Luna of Riverside, CA; brother, Wally Luna, II of Riverside, CA; sisters, Lucretia Allen of San Diego, CA and Bonnie Pittenger of Aloha, OR; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A funeral service will be Friday, March 18 at 3pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Visitation will be Friday from 9am through the service.
