LEONARD LOUIS CHEVRON Leonard Chevron, age 89, passed away Sunday, February 2 in Vancouver. He was born June 21, 1915 in Washougal where he grew up and went to school. He married Jeanne Catto in 1936 and they moved to Portland, OR in 1937. Leonard worked for Foundation Worsted for several years and later for the Hyster Company for 20 years. He retired in 1977 and they moved back to Washougal where they lived until moving to Vancouver, four years ago. Mr. Chevron was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing. He is also in the Portland Softball Hall of Fame for playing third base. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon and Claude Chevron. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne at home and nieces and nephews.
