DANIEL LANE Daniel Lane, age 52, passed away Tuesday, February 22 at home in Camas. He was born June 3, 1952 in Vancouver, WA to Kenneth and Lois Bunch Lane. Daniel grew up in Washougal where he graduated from high school. He started working at the mill in Camas and was drafted into the Army in 1972. When he completed basic training he returned home and married Barbara Norris in 1973. After completing his military service he went back to work at the mill. Mr. Lane was Team Leader in the Steam Plant at Georgia Pacific and had worked their for almost 35 years. Daniel liked golfing, hunting and going for drives. He especially loved his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Barbara at home; daughter, Jennifer Ernst of Washougal; son, Kenneth Lane of Camas; mother, Lois Lane and step-father, Gene Bradshaw of Washougal; sisters, Loretta Espeland of Portland and Nancy Resa of Seaside, OR; and granddaughters, Shelby & Chloie Ernst of Washougal. A funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 26 at 11am at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Visitation will be Friday from 10am to 5pm at Straub?s Funeral Home. Interment will be private at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.
