PEARL NAGEL Pearl Maxine Schweitzberger Nagel passed away Monday, January 10 at home in Washougal. She was 83. She was born January 30, 1921 in Kingsley, Iowa to William and Sarah Schweitzberger. She moved to Washougal in 1941 and married Chester S. Nagel and raised 4 boys, Chester Kenneth, Eugene Henry, David John, Duane Ardel and daughter Sarah Joann Nagel. She joined the Camas Assembly of God Church in the late 40?s or early 50?s and started teaching Sunday School in the early 60?s. She taught for 35 years. She enjoyed camping, baking, embroidering and being with her family. Along with her children she is survived by her, brothers, Ernie, Ralph, and Kenneth Schweitberger of Kingsley Iowa; sisters, Viola Kramer of Kingsley, Iowa, Fern Johnson of Perry, IA, Violet Keller of California City, CA, Marvel Nagle of Sequim, WA; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service was held Saturday, January 15 at 11am at the Camas Assembly of God Church. Burial was at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
