Obituary of Donald C. Monaghan

DONALD C. MONAGHAN Donald C. Monaghan, age 76, of Camas, WA died Friday, January 7 in Vancouver. Donald was born at home in Camas on March 14, 1928 and graduated from Camas High School in 1946. He married Norma K Rondeau in 1947 and lived his entire life on his farm on Woodburn Hill where he enjoyed his land and raising cattle. He retired from Georgia Pacific paper mill after 46 years of service. Don especially enjoyed traveling with the Tumbleweeds Campers Club and time with those special friends. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1042 and St. Thomas Catholic Church. Donald was an extraordinary man. He is survived by his wife, Norma, of 57 years, sons, Daniel, John, Michael, David, and Kelly; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A vigil service will be Wednesday, January 12 at 5:30 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. A funeral mass will be Thursday at 11am at the church.
