Obituary of Kenneth Milton Rainey

KENNETH M. RAINEY Kenneth Rainey, age 65, passed away Saturday, December 18 at St. Vincent Hospital in Portland, OR. He was born October 20, 1939 in Camas to Paul and Della Sweeney Rainey. He graduated from Camas High School and took some college classes at Clark College in the auto department. He started working for Crown Zellerbach paper mill in Camas in 1958 and eventually became a shipping foreman. He retired from the mill in 1995. Mr. Rainey enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on his truck. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Rainey and sister, Leola Scott. Survivors include his companion, Jan Owen of Washougal; daughters, Tammy Pallamounter of Camas, Tina Rainey of Battle Ground; brother, Lauren Rainey of Beaverton, OR; sisters, Veda Tandy, June Rainey, and Barbara Runyan all of Camas and grandson Fisher Benjamin of Vancouver. A graveside service will be Thursday, December 23 at 1pm at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
