Obituary of Robert James Boni

ROBERT JAMES BONI Robert Boni, of Washougal, passed away Friday, October 22 at SW Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. He was 69. Robert ?Bob? was born on July 4, 1935 in Tonopah, NV to Alvino and Helen Boni. He moved to Washougal in 1953 and went to work for Povey Chevrolet in Camas in the auto paint shops. He later worked for Crown Zellerbach in the print department. Bob joined the army in 1957 and went to Fort Benning for his training. When he returned to Washougal, he went to work for the Washougal School District. Bob was a past member of the Camas/Washougal Wildlife League and a member of the Moose Lodge #1042. He was preceded in death by his father, Al, in 2003 and his brother, Ronald ?Skeeter? in 1966. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen of Washougal; mother, Helen of Washougal; daughters, Rhonda Burden and Linda Ochs both of Washougal and Terri Lamb of Brookings, OR; son, Brian Boni of Washougal; sister Lana Cass of Washougal; and 9 grandchildren.
