Obituary of Kelsey Nicole Maddux

KELSEY NICOLE MADDUX Kelsey Maddux, of Washougal, passed away Saturday, September 11 at OHSU Hospital in Portland. She was 14. Kelsey is the daughter of Lisa Lewis Robinson and Mark Maddux. Kelsey was born February 22, 1990 in The Dalles, OR. She lived in Home Valley, WA for a few years before moving to Washougal. She was a student at Hathaway Middle School and would have been in the 7th grade. Kelsey was born with Retts Syndrome, a degenerative neurological disorder. She enjoyed music, movies, and loved going to school and being with her friends. She especially loved Jamie High, her special assistant. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Lisa and Deshimu Robinson of Vancouver, father, Mark Maddux of Washougal; brothers, Luke Arterbury of Vancouver, Jonathan Maddux of Coos Bay, OR, Deshimu Robinson, Jr. of California; sisters, Danielle Maddux of Washougal, TylerJean Arterbury-Robinson of Vancouver, Sayanna Robinson of Vancouver; grandparents, Doris Bernys and Bernie Ward of The Dalles, OR, Ted and Donna Maddux of Corvallis, OR, Bob and DeAnna Lewis of Washougal; great grandparents, Art and Ida Lewis of Camas and Inez Osbourne of Washougal. A funeral service will be Thursday, September 16 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
