The Palmer Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and can only imagine the pain you are experiencing right now. I have great memories of the I spent at your house and the infectious laugh Mr. Palmer had. Though time has seemed to slip away from me and it has been a while since you all have been a part of my life, you all are a fond part of my childhood and I cherish those memories deeply. I had never met Mr. Palmer though his son SPC Nehemiah Palmer is one of the soldiers deployed with me here in Baghdad. I feel as a father myself the legacy we leave behind of the type of man we were is reflected in our children. SPC Palmer is an excellect soldier that is professional and holds himself to a higher standard. This definately tells me what kind of man his father was.
