Obituary of Ellen Sue Crump

ELLEN SUE CRUMP Ellen Crump, age 65, passed away Tuesday, June 15 at home in Camas. She was born August 22, 1939 in Seoul, South Korea. She was raised in Seoul and moved to Greenville, NC in 1967. She then resided in Gastonia, NC for 31 years where she owned her own business as a seamstress. She moved to Camas in November of 2003 to live with her daughter. Mrs. Crump enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wiley Crump in 2003. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Hines of Camas; 3 brothers and 1 sister in Seoul, South Korea and 2 grandchildren. A funeral service will be Friday, June 18 at 3pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Visitation will start at 2pm Friday at the funeral home. Anyone who wishes may donate a rose bush that will be planted in a rose garden in Mrs. Crump?s memory.
