Obituary of Billie LaVerle Berry

BILLIE L. BERRY Billie Berry, of Washougal, passed away, Sunday, July 25 at home. She was 75. Mrs. Berry was born December 13, 1928 in Aberdeen, ID to Earl and Grace Wilcox Gohman. She moved to the Camas area when she was 11 and went to high school in Vancouver. Billie married Leland Berry on June 14, 1947 in Washougal and became a homemaker. She liked to ski, cook and garden. She also enjoyed camping and traveling. Mrs. Berry loved her family and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Leland, at home; son, Richard Berry of Vancouver; daughters, Linda Morris and Kathy Noble both of Camas; sisters, Dolly Mitchell of Washougal, Gladys VanHollenbeck of Camas; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Wednesday, July 28 at 11am at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Camas Cemetery.
