Obituary of Michael Alfred Wilcox, Sr.

Michael Alfred Wilcox, Sr. Michael Alfred Wilcox, Sr., age 68 died February 28, 2017 at PeaceHealth Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Mike was born in Vancouver, WA on June 22, 1948 to Alfred and Marion Wilcox. Mike grew up in Washougal, WA where he graduated from high school in 1966. After high school he went on to become a journeyman electrician at the Camas Paper Mill where he retired after 37 years of service at the age of 55. Mike was happiest at home, on Mt. Norway, spending time with his family and many friends. Mike is survived by his wife Twyla, his brothers Dick Larsen Becky, Daryl Wilcox Amy, his sisters Glenda Branson, Janet Keenan Bill, his daughter Kari Murphy, his son Michael Wilcox, Jr. Pam, his stepson Mark Wilson, his stepdaughter Shelley Craig Chris, his grandsons Nicholas, Kyle, and Matthew, his granddaughters Brooklynn, Taylor, and Kady, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles. A celebration of life will be held on March 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Camas Union Hall on 5th & Dallas.
