SCOTT NIELSON
Scott Russell Nielson, of Vancouver, WA passed peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from complications of a brain tumor, he was 46 years old.
Scott, was born on June 18, 1970 in Phoenix, Arizona to Dean and Elizabeth Nielson. In 1988 he graduated from Columbia High School in White Salmon, Washington. After High School, he served an honorable two year LDS mission to England. Following his return, Scott began his lifelong career in contracting and homebuilding in the Columbia Gorge area. The most important thing in Scott's life were his three children, who he lovingly called: Chunky, Pumpkin, and Baby; he considered them as life's greatest blessing. Scott was described as "Larger than life" and he gave a whole new meaning to a bear hug. He helped those around him in any way he could, even if it was just making them smile.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Elizabeth Nielson. He is survived by his three children; Scott Jr., Ramy and Victoria, who he loved. His father, Dean Nielson, and his six siblings: Rex Nielson, Rhonda Grillone, Trisha Mataele, Julie Bradfield, Keith Nielson and Kent Nielson and their families.
