Obituary of Mary Carolyn Dade

MARY DADE Mary C. Dade, born September 12, 1946 in Vancouver, WA, passed away January 30, 2017. A graduate of Washougal High School, she attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Mary moved to Alaska in 1974 with her then husband, Bill Dade and two young daughters, where she spent an adventurous 9 years before moving to Oregon. She retired from Oregon Health and Science University in 2011 and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and traveling throughout the Southwest with her sister and her sister's family. She was also active in Beta Sigma Phi, the Red Hat Society, Camas United Methodist Church and met frequently with a group of friends from Washougal High School. She is survived by daughters Patrice S. Qualman Tony Qualman of Grand Ronde, OR and Heather L. Themelis Alex Themelis of Mableton, GA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Cody and Maxwell Qualman of Grand Ronde, OR and Lynly and Dade Themelis of Mableton, GA. In addition, she is survived by a brother, Steven Williams of Camas, WA. Mary was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Hazel Williams, a brother, Terry Williams and sister, Janet Smith. A memorial service will be held on February 11th, 2017 at the Camas United Methodist Church at 2pm. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Camas United Methodist Church memorial fund.
