So sorry to read of Jean's passing. She was such a kind person and very talented. I worked at Safeway for 25 years and saw her all the time.
I enjoyed her showing me her paintings in progress. I especially liked the ones she did in watercolor color. I remember her doing one of the area around where Safeway now stands. I would have loved seeing it finished. It was more of a pictoral map of houses around area. It was how I remembered it growing up. Thank you Jean for sharing with me. May you rest in peace.
A wonderful woman, always so kind and smiling. I have spent many years in Camas and will miss watching her walk around town to Safeway and Burgerville.
Jean was a very dear friend, and an amazing woman. I always admired her skill and talent as an artist. It is so difficult to accept the fact that she has passed on; the old neighborhood will truly not be the same without her. She is missed.
Great grandma you will be dearly missed, and are deeply loved. I will keep you alive through the artistry I was blessed to inherit from you. I love you very much! Johnny
