Bob loved to travel, and would regale friends and family with stories of his trips to Japan, Russia, England, and his home state of Montana. A lover of music, Bob maintained a robust collection, from Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass to Shirley Bassey to The Kingston Trio. He was an early adopter of technology and was always eager to show off his latest toy and gadget.
Bob was a great leader and friend to his colleagues, a warm and wonderful host to visiting friends and family, a doting and playful grandfather, and a supportive, loving father who bragged on his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to whomever would listen. He will be remembered as a family man and a devoted husband to the love of his life, Jeannie. He is deeply loved and sorely missed.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 30 at 11AM at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donating to Bob's favorite charity, Paralyzed Veterans of America at https://secure.pva.org. To send condolences or to sign the online guestbook please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
