Obituary of Richard Allen Bea

RICHARD BEA Richard Allen Bea passed December 19, 2016 surrounded by family and friends. Richard was born in Vancouver, WA in 1942 to Wayne and Esther Bea. He graduated from Washougal High School in 1961. After graduation, Richard worked at the Camas Paper Mill until joining the United States Air Force in 1966. On February 11, 1967, Richard married the love of his life, Sally Osborne. After serving in the Air Force, Richard and Sally returned home where he worked at the paper mill and eventually retired from Non Woven. His favorite activities were centered around his family and friends. He loved camping, traveling, horseback riding, building everything, fixing anything and watching his grandchildren's many activities. Richard's family was his greatest possession. He was a devoted husband, amazing father, loving grandfather and gracious friend. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Esther Bea, and daughter, Barbara Dawn Bea 1972. Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sally Bea, his brother, Donald Bea Alene, sons, Brian Bea Jody, Brad Bea Jada and Troy Wolff, daughter, Deborah Mansfield Jason and 10 grandchildren. A funeral will be held at Bethel Community Church 1438 B Street Washougal, WA on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00am. A graveside service with military honors will follow the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. There will be a reception following the graveside service.
