I looked forward to talking with your mother at our lineage groups that often had a luncheon associated with them. She was a unique individual that always seemed to do her share of the work with grace. She was one of the saints.

Dear Chele, Your mother was one of the dearest women I have ever met. She maintained the guest book and greeted everyone at our DAR meetings when I first joined. She made everyone feel welcomed! It was such a treat if she sat at my table for lunch because she had such a gentle manner but also such a mischievous twinkle in her eye! When I think of a model of DAR hospitality I think of Ann. Dear Chele, My thoughts are with you as we all mourn the passing of your mother. I will always remember the day I met your Ann, it was December 12, 2009, I was being officially welcomed into DAR San Andreas Lake Chapter, I heard a little voice with an adorable southern accent from the corner table say "Valerie, where in Belmont do you live?" I went over to talk to the lovely lady and a friendship was formed. Turns out we had been living only three blocks away from each other for twenty years. Ann had a warm heart and a kind word for everyone. I admired her strong sense of self and independence. I am glad to have known her and I will miss her. In friendship, Valerie Lynne

I was so sad to hear of Ann's passing. She was one of my favorite ladies at DAR when I was considering joining I was one of the youngest - having just married and not had my kids yet. In fact, she was so sweet that I asked to have her be one of the signers on my application! May you find peace in these sad days and reflect with smiles on the good times you had with her! Our sincere condolences to the Family of Martha Ann Tedrick. Ann as we called her was a very lovely woman,with a ready smile and a cheerful manner. We here at the San Andreas Lake Chapter of the D.A.R. missed her greatly when she moved and now will miss her correspondence's with us. As Chapter Chaplain I send our Blessings to her Family.
