Dear Andy and family, Alisa will live on in the hearts of those she left behind. Her memory and the memories she made with everyone will be carried forward. God calls each of us "home" when He feels our work on earth is done. We never understand when it's someone this young...but I believe Alisa is waiting for each of us who grew to love her. It's impossible to understand why such a vibrant, special person was taken from this world all too soon, and my heart and mind are grieving tremendously. Ever since I heard of Alisa's sickness, I have been keeping her and her family in my thoughts and prayers. She was a wonderful person who always made people feel comfortable and important. I remember going to church with her when we were young, and even though we were never good friends, she was always kind, open and friendly to me and everyone else and had a wonderful laugh and sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends. May you keep her in your heart always and find peace.

I will always remember Alisa as a great teacher and the kids always loved her. Anytime she asked me to work for her I was happy to do it.
