Obituary of Duane L. Erickson

Duane Erickson Duane L Erickson, 73 years young, was born on June 3, 1942 in Tacoma, WA. and went to meet his Lord and family above on May 18, 2016. Duane moved to Vancouver in 1955 and graduated from Evergreen High School, Class of 1960. Duane retired from Freightliner Corp, was a member of PNW Four Wheel Drive Association, Washougal Bunch 4x4 Club, Eagles 4x4 Club and a member of the Peninsula Moose Lodge #2362 in Ocean Park, WA. Duane was always a car enthusiast, Racing, whether it was Drag Racing, NASCAR Racing or Mud 4x4 Racing. And really enjoyed showing his collector cars with many friends. Duane is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda LaFrance Erickson of Vancouver, his Mother, Florence Erickson of Vancouver, Brother, Dennis Erickson, of Venersberg. Children: Anjela Rowland Perry of St. Helens, OR, Philip Rowland of Washougal, Greg Erickson and Darla Dow, of Vancouver.6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Clifford Erickson, 1 Aunt and 1 Uncle. And in-laws, Phil and Ines LaFrance of Camas. A celebration of Duane will be held at Camas/Washougal Wildlife League, 811 SE Leadbetter Rd, Camas, WA. on Sunday June 12, 2016 at 2pm. Please bring your memories to share.
