Obituary of Jodine Kay Bennett

JODINE BENNETT Jodine "Jodi" Kay Bennett passed away in her home in Vancouver WA, on Thursday, April 28th, with her son, Jacob, at her side. Jodi was 54 years old and was born December 3rd, 1961 as the first of two children. Jodi is survived by her son, David Bennett, his wife Erin and grandson Daniel; her son, Jacob Bennett; her brother, Chris Ramsey; her parents, David and Bettie Ramsey and grandmother Sybil Dunn as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jodi graduated from Washougal High School in 1980 and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1982. She attained the rank of Staff Sergeant serving as a Medical Service Specialist and received an honorable discharge. She graduated from both, Clark College and Washington State University, Vancouver. She worked for Willamette Industries and Weyerhaeuser and Providence Health Systems in internal audit and data base security. Jodi enjoyed seeing live music, camping, fishing, beach trips and spending time with her family. A celebration of life service will be held at the Lacamas Lake Lodge 227 NW Lake Rd in Camas, WA on May 13th, at 2 p.m. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
