Obituary of Marvin E. Newman

MARVIN "MARV" E. NEWMAN Marvin "Marv" E. Newman was born and raised in the Felida area of Ridgefield, WA to Adolph and Elsie Pautz Newman, on Feb. 27, 1932. He passed away on April 17, 2016 in Vancouver, WA. Before Marv retired from The Clark County Fair in 2005, he enjoyed and worked many hours, having service stations, dump trucks, along with many other adventures. Marv's family was most important to him throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nicki Godsil Newman; daughters, Jennette Bob Carrithers, Judith Doug Paris, and Marcia Dreher Reed; step-son, David Moore; 5 grandchildren; and 9 Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Raymond and Albert. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 8701 NE 119th St. Vancouver, WA. Vault interment will follow at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
