Obituary of Beverly Ann Nichols

Beverly A. Nichols Beverly Ann Nichols died March 14, 2016 in Vancouver. She was 79. She was born on April 18, 1936 in Kelso, WA to Alfred and Reta Farley. The family moved to Camas while she was a young girl and she spent the rest of her life in the Camas-Washougal area. She married Marion D. Nichols in 1954 and they were blessed with over 61 years together. Bev had many talents including sewing, embroidery, knitting and crotchet. She worked in a nursing home as a housekeeper; she cleaned houses for many years. She was also a custodian at the Camas Nazarene Church for many years. Bev made her family the center of her life; she always maintained a large vegetable garden and was well known for her homemade bread and her green thumb with flowers. One of her favorite sayings was "It will all work out". Bev was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sheila, and son, Thomas. She is survived by loving husband Marion, brother, Ken Deloris Farley and sister, Janice Hagerty, children; Rick Tamra Nichols, Doug Cheryl Nichols, Sheri Gary Allen, and Todd Nichols, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Beverly will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Services were held March 18, 2016. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation was in charge of the arrangements.
