Obituary of Ralph Eugene Owen

Ralph Eugene Owen Ralph Eugene Owen was a successful visionary and entrepreneur. He started his first business when he was just a teenager in Portland, Oregon. That business is now known as Cal-Skate in Portland and is the 2nd oldest skateboarding shop in the entire country. He continued his entrepreneurship by opening Sundance Art, a wall art and framing production company. Later he owned an Ultralight Fixed Wing Aircraft dealership. Along with his dealership he held popular airshows. Ralph started Galaxy Satellite and later MacFriends, a successful Apple computer retailer. In the Camas area he owned and operated The Mini-Dish People. He loved technology and having the best and latest gadgets and toys. He looked forward to traveling and spending time with his family. Boating, jet-skis, anything water, flying in small airplanes and hosting big 4th of July firework shows on the Columbia River were some of his passions. Ralph was a great leader, dedicated family man, and provider. He and Cathy are the proud grandparents of 14 grandchildren.
