INES LaFRANCE
Ines Arlene Forner LaFrance, 91 years young, was born June 7, 1924, in Monango, North Dakota, and went to meet her Lord and family above on Jan. 19, 2016. Ines moved to Camas in 1938, and graduated from Camas High School in 1942. She married Philip LaFrance in 1943. They lived in the Camas-Washougal area and raised five children.
Ines is survived by one brother, four children, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and just recently her first great-great-granddaughter was born, which put a big smile on her face. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Philip; daughter, Susan Grazier; friend/partner of 23 years Merwin Beery; five brothers and two sisters.
Ines was a charter member of Women of the Moose. She enjoyed her little dog Zippy for the last 21 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren coming over to bake, play cards, do crafts and she really enjoyed playing bingo. She was the hostess on many bus trips in the 1980s, traveling all overthe west. She made several trips to the King Tut exhibit in Seattle at that time.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m., at Bethel Community Church, 1438 "B" St., in Washougal. Please bring your memories with you. Straub's Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of arrangements. A special thank you to Prestige Care and Rehab in Camas.
