Obituary of Thomas Gerald Crawford

Thomas Gerald "Tom" "Blacky" Crawford, 75, of Camas died on May 17th, 2015 in his home. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. and later retired from Ford Motor Co. and 3M. He was also well respected and known as "Captain" by the students at Camas School District where he was a bus driver in his retired years. He was a faithful attender at New Heights Church-East Campus. He was a loving, dedicated, faithful man to his country, to his faith and to his family. Survived by his wife, Marianne Crawford; Son, Ronald Crawford; Daughter, Melissa McGill;Step-Daughters, Alana Craig Hindle; Luana Greg Wilson; Tania Phillips; Tamara Brian Ching; Brothers, Mike Marcia Crawford; Denny Kathy Crawford; Donnie Sue Crawford; Jimmy Crawford; David Donna Crawford; Sisters, Diane Smith; Joanne Crawford; 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews. Services provided by Straub Funeral Home of Camas, WA. A celebration of Life service will be held at New Heights Church-East Campus located at 1902 NE 185th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684 on May 29th at 10am. Burial to follow at Camas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: MD Anderson Cancer Center, PO BOX 4486, Houston, TX 77210-4486 *Please include the name of Thomas G. Crawford with your memorial gift.
