Michael Lewis We announce the untimely passing of Michael Kenneth Lewis on February 26th 2015, at his home in Camas, WA. He was a beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather. Mike, known as "Mikey" by many was born November 3, 1962 in Hampton, Virginia. He spent his young years in various states as he was a military son. Later Mike also served his country from 1983 to 1987 in the US Army. The past 27 years he worked as a team leader and wrap line operator at Georgia Pacific Camas Mill. Mike lived his life like a kid in a grown man's body and always a hop in his step. Any sunny day there was no question he would be on the golf course with his friends. The excitement of traveling and playing prestigious courses was endless and he had great joy in sharing his round, even if only 1 great shot you were going to hear about it. Mike also loved bowling, spending most of his years at Hazel Dell Lanes, Riverside Bowl, Big Al's and Bailey's. He was skilled enough to have bowled several 300 games and even a couple 800 Series. As such a respected and loved man he is survived by his wife, Mary K. Lewis, mother, Shirley Lewis, son, Casey Lewis, daughter in law, Teri Prentice; son, Joshua Lewis, daughter in-law, Natasha Lewis, sister, Jetta Luciano Kim; step daughter, Jennifer Meads, son in law, Timothy Waters, step daughter, Melissa White, son in law, Bryan Joyal; step son, Marcus Meads, daughter in law, Danielle James; 6 grandsons and 4 grand daughters, several nieces, nephews and many friends. A viewing will be held at Straub's Funeral home in Camas Wednesday March 4, 2015 10:00 am- 5:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held Saturday March 7, 2015 at the Camas-Washougal Wild Life League from 3:00-:00 pm. We ask donations may be directed to the America Heart Association.
