JAMIE CECIL GONGAWARE
Jamie Gongaware, age 57, passed away on Sunday morning, January 18 at his home. He was born January 8, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio.
He graduated from high school in Spokane, WA. He was an electrician for several large companies and was currently working for Clark County Public Works department.
Jamie's favorite things were spending time with family and friends. Karaoke, NASCAR GO Kevin Harvick!!!, the Camas Moose Lodge, fishing, his '59 Jeep Willys and listening to Sammy Hagar.
He is survived by his wife Karen, daughters, Jamie and Tracey Jester; grandsons, Tristen and Xander, sisters, Joyce Dunn and Peg Carter, brother, Eugene VanDorn, and sister-in-law, Anita Shaw. Jamie will be missed by his many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Kelso, brother, David, and father-in-law, Elmer Fraley.
Jamie had a big heart and was always there when anyone needed him. He felt so lucky and blessed by all the prayers, love, and support he received. He was loved.
A celebration of life service was held on Sunday, January 25 at 1pm at Moose Lodge 1042. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation was in charge of the arrangements.
