JANE ELIZABETH ALDRICH BROWN
Jane Elizabeth Aldrich Brown, 76, entered the presence of our Lord on Friday, January 2, 2015. She was born June 18, 1938, in Portland, OR to Dr. Willard and Doris Coffin Aldrich, the oldest of nine children.
At sixteen years of age, Jane contracted polio. Despite this physical limitation she was a member of the first graduating class of Hudson's Bay High School 1956. She went on to study at Western Washington University, and graduated from Multnomah University with a Bachelor's Degree. In 1959 she married the late Constantine James Gus Franks and together they raised four children in Bellingham, WA – John, Linda, Lisa, and David.
A devoted homemaker, Jane later worked as an editor of children and family books at Multnomah Press. In 1987 she married Dr. Warren Brown and for twenty years served alongside him at Bethel Community Church where he was the pastor. She was an author, speaker, Bible teacher, and a women's prayer facilitator for International Renewal Ministries. Jane was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Brown, daughters, Linda Mark DeYmaz and Lisa Mark Averill; son, David Franks; brothers, John Linda, Tim Barbara, and Tad Cindy Aldrich; sisters, Becky Bert Ortmann, Annette Jim Hazlett, Virginia Klett, Bobbie Bill Trenckman; her six grandchildren, Zack Lori, Grant, Taylor, Emily, Will, and Kate; two great grandchildren, Grace and Catherine; Warren's children, Alissa Chris Ellis and Matthew Brown.
