DALE "WAYNE" McCULLOUGH
Dale "Wayne" Dwayne McCullough passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. Born on April 1, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to George William and Delphie Lee Wells McCullough; Wayne was 62 years old.
A graduate of Washougal High School in 1970 Wayne went to work at Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas and was currently working for Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Camas and a member of the A.W.P.P.W. Local #5 in Camas. Wayne married his childhood sweetheart and best friend Carol Sue Anderson on November 18, 1972 at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, going to the beach and decorating for the holidays.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Carol; son Chris Ann McCullough of Washougal; father George McCullough of Washougal; brother Lornie McCullough of Washougal; sister Leeann Dan Twain of Washougal; father-in-law Alan Anderson Sr. of Camas and sisters-in-law Diane Anderson of Camas and Ann Will Harryman of Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his mother Delphie McCullough; mother-in-law Irene Anderson and brother-in-law Alan Anderson Jr.
There will be a celebration of Wayne's life on Wednesday, December 10th at 11:00 am at Straub's Funeral Home: 325 NE 3rd Avenue Camas, WA 98607 with a reception to follow.
