Steven "Steve" Edward Hambleton peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his home in Washougal. Born on November 13, 1958 in Vancouver, Washington to Floyd E. and Helen M. Rappe Hambleton; Steve was 55 years old. A graduate of Camas High School in 1977, Steve worked for the Hambleton Bros. Lumber Mill in Washougal and the Camas School District. He married the love of his life Edwina "Wina" Barber on March 28, 1981 and together they had two children. He was an avid bowler and NASCAR fan, drove racecars, snowmobiles, and enjoyed flying airplanes. Spending time with his family and friends were the highlights of his life. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Wina at home; daughter Jennifer David Hambleton; son Steve Katrina Hambleton; siblings Allen, Susan Jesus, and Mike, grandson Karter, granddaughters Kaidence and Kelcie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21 at 11:00 AM at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. An open house will be held on Saturday, November 22nd starting at 1:00 pm at the residence of Corey Barber: 35615 NE 52nd Street, Camas, WA 98607.
