Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about the passing of Chris. He enriched my life with his words of wisdom, his multiple talents and his loving care. He will always be remembered with fond memories. May he rest in Heavenly Peace now.
My most sincere condolences to you all.
Love you all,

Dearest Rachael, Bob, David, Christina, and other families: Writing this bring tears to my eyes. Another giant had left us physically to join others that had gone before us. But he will always be living in our memory. He was such a kind, caring and gracious man, not to mention extremely bright, loving husband, wonderful father. We will truly miss him. Please take care and God Bless.

Rachel, Dave, Bob and Christine,
Please accept our deepest sympathies. We will always remember Chris as a gentleman, scientist and friend. His respectful treatment of everyone showed us that having respect for others showed dignity for oneself. His curiosity taught us that profeciency in a discipline is earned through a relentless search for knowledge in others. His lifelong commitment to our community and CSEPA inspired this young lawyer in ways I will always be grateful for.
The memory that sums up Chris for me is his "runway modeling" of traditional Chinese Clothing in CSEPA's Fashion Show to raise money for the Chinese Classical Garden. Past and present, pride, humility and charity all expressed in a single act. We are all better people because of him.
We will miss Chris, but the values he taught through his life is his legacy to us that will endure through all who had the privilege of having his friendship.
with our deepest sympathies,
Jim, Kay and Sara Fun

Dear Rachel, Christine, Dave and Bob,
My family and I were saddened to hear of Chris's passing. What a fine gentleman this community has lost. My son, Matt, thought the world of your family. When he was in high school he always enjoyed visiting with you surrounded by a feeling of intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm and inclusion. What a gift to a teenaged boy. When my daughter, Kris, was young and had a table of goodies at the holiday bazaar each year, she always referred to Chris as her favorite customer. He was so kind and encouraging.
This community is much better because Chris Yang was a part of it. He will be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Chris and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was such a good, good man. He was my neighbor growing up and was such an inspirational role model to be around - always so inviting, engaging, interesting and wise. When young, he never made me feel like he was the parent of my friend that simply was someone to say hi to and move on. No - he'd always greet me with a genuine smile, then sit and visit. About 8 years ago, I had cancer and met him in the oncology department. And partly because of this experiance, I have wondered often how he was. You will not be forgotten, Chris, and I thank you for the time I got to share with you and for the memories.

We are so sorry to hear about Chris' passing.
It seemed like a short while ago we attended an art exhibition at a downtown Camas gallery. We were impressed by the large spectrum of creativity his work entailed.
What fitting tribute to a remarkable and talented man.
We are glad we had a chance to know Christen Yang.
Deepest sympathy,
Philip Tang and Peter Eddy
