BERNICE HELEN JOHNSON
Bernice Helen Johnson, 93, returned to her Lord on Feb. 22, 2014 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House. She was born on Sept. 26, 1920 in Camas, WA to August and Florence Brunner. Bernice married Keith W. Brown in 1941. They had a daughter, Jusy. They divorced several years later. Bernice married Allen Clyde Johnson and they had 36 years together until his passing in 2008.
Bernice was a member of the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church. She lived her entire life in the Camas area. She was one of the original members of the Fern Prairie Missionary Society, formed in April 1959 and still active today. Bernice took great pride in her yard. She enjoyed growing many different types of flowers and arranging them in her collection of vases.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Judy Oakes of Camas and 3 grandcats, Annie, Callie and Velvet.
