Jeanie Carolyn Click Jeannie Carolyn Click died in her sleep Dec. 15, 2013 at her home. She was 72. Jean was born Jan. 24, 1941 in Portland Oregon. She spent her childhood being raised by her Grandmother, Lena Denbo in Orient, Oregon and graduated from Gresham High School. She married Bob Click and moved to Prune Hill in Camas in 1964. As a young woman she focused her energies on raising three children and was involved in community activities such as Camp Fire Girls, and Special Olympics. She enjoyed participating in community softball and league bowling. She was also well known as the Avon Lady and was a representative for 35 years. She also had a career as a Customer Service Representative for Nationwide Insurance. The community was very important to her and especially the neighborhood that she lived in on Prune Hill. She once commented that she could not imagine living anywhere. She is survived by her children Shelly Click of Camas and Patti Nicholas and Terry Click of Bigfork, Montana; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and three nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 23rd, at Straub's Funeral in Camas. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Special Olympics.
