Susanna Salisbury Davis March 13, 1926 ~ December 9, 2013 Mrs. Sue Davis, 87, of Vancouver, WA passed away on Monday morning, December 9, 2013 at Manor Care. Born Susanna Isadora Salisbury, in Wakefield, Rhode Island, she was married to the late Charles William Bill Davis. She graduated as a registered nurse from Franklin County Public Hospital, Class of '47. Her nursing career was spent in various hospitals, doctor's offices, and many years as a school nurse for the Washougal School District. In mid-career she returned to school and received her Master's Degree from the University of Portland. She leaves behind her family: brother, Clinton Betty Salisbury of Wakefield, Rhode Island; sons, Charles "Chip" Teresa of Issaquah, WA, Chris of Newport Beach, CA, Tim Kathy of Vancouver, WA, and Tom of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Brian Marijana Davis, Sarah Matt Field, Madeline Davis, Ted Davis and great-grandchild, Mateo Davis. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 21st at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church: 17010 NE 9th Street, Vancouver, WA 98684. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Ray Hickey Hospice House: PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668. Special thanks go to her many friends and the loving staff of Manor Care Health Services.
